Unitas Wholesale launches exclusive new magazine and digital tools for the out of home channel
The UK’s largest wholesale services company, Unitas Wholesale, has launched an exclusive new print magazine and website to support its out of home wholesale members and their end users at a time when the channel most needs it.
As the foodservice and on-trade channels continue to recover following the Covid-19 lockdown, Unitas Wholesale has developed “Bar & Kitchen” a published title that will be distributed free of charge to end user outlets exclusively through the Groups membership.
Les Mohammed, Unitas Wholesale’s Senior Trading Controller (OOH) explains “Customers of the Groups’ foodservice & on-trade membership can expect to find useful information and insight in the magazine as well as on the supporting website. We have developed two platforms to provide the foodservice and on-trade industry with advice and practical business tools, the magazine and digital elements will support members and their customers in developing and growing their businesses. As an example, in the first issue we have included a 10 page feature on re-opening your business after the Covid-19 crisis and how customers can adapt to the ‘new normal’ which is really important right now.
And content will be easier than ever to access. The brand-new website includes tools and features that enable members’ customers to plan profitable recipes and menus, quickly refer to allergen and product information, save recipes, guides and tools for future use.”
The Bar & Kitchen magazine is available exclusively through Unitas Wholesale member depots operating in the foodservice and on-trade channels.
